WWE has a huge Monday Night Raw on January 11, 2016 at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA.

The lead story for Raw is that Brock Lesnar is back on the show after being out of WWE storylines for several months. Lesnar is expected to make his intentions for the 2016 Royal Rumble known.

WWE.com on the Beast:
He’s coming. Less than two weeks before the 2016 Royal Rumble event, Brock Lesnar is re-emerging on Raw in New Orleans — the same city The Beast Incarnate made history by ending The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania Streak. What awaits as The Anomaly’s shadow looms over Monday’s Raw? WWE.com has some theories.

The Royal Rumble is less than 2 weeks away, and only 10 men are announced the Rumble match itself. In addition to Lesnar, more names are expected to be announced. Here is the list thusfar:
Here is the official list of entrants thusfar, with more expected to be announced on Smackdown.

  • Big Show
  • Curtis Axel
  • Chris Jericho
  • Ryback
  • Bray Wyatt
  • Braun Strowman
  • Erick Rowan
  • Luke Harper
  • Dolph Ziggler
  • Roman Reigns

WWE had to shift gears for the US Title match, as John Cena is injured and not in the picture. WWE put Kalisto over Alberto Del Rio clean on Smackdown, setting up a title program between the two. It was one of, if not the first time Alberto has jobbed since his return to WWE. Cena is out until later in 2016 and won’t be on the show.

Roman Reigns and his feud with the Authority will continue to dominate the show. Stephanie and Vince McMahon have been running down Reigns over the last few weeks but now HHH is expected to return to Raw after several weeks off the show.

Charlotte finally turned on Becky Lynch for good last Monday on Raw, and now Becky Lynch has her sights set on revenge on both Charlotte and Ric Flair. The next chapter in their story is expected to unfold on Raw. It should be noted that Sasha Banks is reportedly injured but WWE is keeping it quiet for now.

The Intercontinental feud between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens has been a highlight thusfar in 2016, and WWE is teasing that it will continue on Raw. While it would be great to have both in the Rumble match, they could be headed for a major gimmick match at the PPV as well.

New Day continue to be one of the most entertaining parts of Raw, and they have a number of teams on their heels including the Dudleys and the Usos.

Chris Jericho returned to Raw last week and is promising that his role is going to be huge for 2016. What is next for Y2J? We will find out on Raw

All this plus the Wyatt Family, Dolph Ziggler’s heel turn hints, The Social Outcasts and more divas!

Here is the WWE.com Five Points Preview:

  1. The Beast is back! – whatever Lesnar does on this week’s Raw will be something no one wants to miss.
  2. The fight of Reigns’ life – How will Reigns navigate his most perilous challenge yet?
  3. Is a U.S. Title Match in Kalisto’s future? – is the masked marvel in line for a U.S. Title opportunity?
