Despite recently being cleared by the UCLA concussion center it appears as if Daniel Bryan’s WWE in-ring career is over.
All reports coming out of the WWE are stating that even though Bryan has been cleared by everyone but the WWE’s own concussion specialist, Dr. Joseph Maroon, Vince McMahon and other officials of the WWE have decided that the risk of re-injury is too great to allow Bryan back into the ring. While they have offered Bryan many different on-screen/non-wrestling roles, Bryan is dead-set on getting back inside the squared circle. The status of his contract is unclear as it may have been frozen due to his injury.
