Complete Lucha Underground Season Two TV Taping Results from 01/30/2016 and 01/31/2016 [Spoilers]

News

Saturday, 1/30
– (Dark match) Pentagon Jr vs TJ Perkins

– Mil Muertes vs King Cuerno (Uses the ropes)

– Prince Puma vs Dragon Azteca Jr

– Fenix vs Johnny Mundo (A beatdown followed from Mundo/Black/Evans/Taya, until Aerostar & Drago ran in for the save. Ivelisse also came down to kick Taya’s ass)

Ultima Lucha Dos: Part I, ‘Unique Opportunity tournament’: – Cage vs The Mack (Falls Count Anywhere II. In an amazing hardcore match comparable to the first one, Mack gets a win with a schoolboy on the outside)

– Son of Havoc vs Texano Jr (Boyle Heights Bar Fight)

– Finals: The Mack vs Son of Havoc (2 out of 3 falls) (Unique Opportunity was a choice between $250,000 or main-eventing Ultima Lucha III. Havoc picks main-eventing, but Dario makes it so he has to win another match to get the opportunity or else his opponent will receive the cash prize. In his LU debut, Dr Wagner Jr kicked Havoc’s ass for the win, aligned himself as Famous B’s new client, and received the $250,000. The tapings end with Famous B on top and overjoyed at his newfound fortunes

Sunday, 1/31 (Ultima Lucha Dos: Parts II & III)

– Battle royal (Potential dark match): Cage (Last eliminates Dr Wagner Jr), Chavo Guerrero, Cisco, Cobra Moon, Cortez Castro, El Captain Delacruz, Joey Ryan, Mascarita Sagrada, Pimpinela Escarlata, Ricky Mandel, Son of Havoc, Texano Jr, The Mack, Vinny Massaro

– Gift of the Gods elimination: Daga, Killshot, Mariposa, Marty Martinez, Sexy Star (Makes Marty submit for the win), Sinister De La Muerte, Nikron (That’s what it sounded like. A debuting luchador with a black mask with small pointy cat ears. He won over the crowd by the end)

– Deathmatch: Mil Muertes (Wins with the Tombstone Piledriver and 4 powerbombs into tables on the outside. Cuerno also used the package tombstone early but Muertes kicked out at 1. They also fought up by the band and used guitars on each other) vs King Cuerno

– Trios titles: PJ Black, Jack Evans, & Johnny Mundo vs Aerostar, Fenix, & Drago (Awesome match. Near the end, Mundo was going for The End of Days but Angelico came out on crutches and knocked him off the top)

– Black Lotus vs Dragon Azteca Jr (Pentagon interferes, beats both up, and says he wants to kick Matanza’s ass now. Sadly it was short, as it was on its way to being their best intergender match

– Lucha Underground title: Matanza Cueto vs Pentagon Jr (Vampiro gives Pentagon a barb-wire bat, but it doesn’t hurt Matanza much. He wins with ‘Tour of the Islands’)

– Taya vs Ivelisse (Catrina interfered and hit Ivelisse with a Double Underhook DDT slam. Lots of fighting on the outside, fun match)

– Daivari vs Paul London (Daivari said he’s so rich that he can disappear all year and still buy a spot on Ultima Lucha. Makes an open challenge to anyone, which London answers to a decent pop)

– Rey Mysterio vs Prince Puma (Best match of the show. Very 50/50 in the ring and the crowd, but Mysterio gets the win with a 619. Mysterio leaves the ring early to give Puma the spotlight at the end. I didn’t have good vibes at the end regarding Puma’s LU future)

– Afterwards, they focus on the cameras towards the announcers to give final goodbyes. As they are doing this, Pentagon sneaks up behind the announcers and hits Vampiro with the barbwire bat. Lots of blood afterwards and Pentagon declares that he is now the master. He also debuted an all-black attire tonight with a leather vest and mask. Looked bad ass.
