WWE is back with an all new edition of Monday Night Raw from the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington.

There are only 2 weeks until the Fastlane 2016 PPV, and there are only 2 matches announced so far.

Almost all of the focus is on the big three man main event pitting Brock Lesnar against Dean Ambrose and the Big Dog himself Roman Reigns. Last week the creative was focusing on the showdown between Lesnar and Ambrose, and possible tension between Ambrose and Reigns. These two main stories, as well as the background of who will face off against HHH at Wrestlemania, will be the focus of the build.

Lesnar is expected to be on the show, and after taking a very physical role last week, it’s expected that he will be included in multiple segments. Paul Heyman is also expected to cut a promo on the show.

Here is WWE.com:
One week after obliterating the brazen Dean Ambrose with an F-5, Brock Lesnar looks to dominate Raw once again, two weeks before battling The Lunatic Fringe and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Fastlane. What awaits on what’s sure to be a bombastic edition of Monday night’s hottest show, live in Seattle? WWE.com has some ideas.

The big rumor is that none other than Daniel Bryan will appear on the show. Washington is Bryan’s home state.

He was also heavily featured in a Tide campaign for Super Bowl 50.

Here is a pic of Bryan flying from Phoenix to Seattle, which led to the rumors:

While it’s not confirmed that Bryan will be on the show, all signs are leading in that direction. He has not yet been cleared to wrestle, so it could be simply a Total Divas related appearance.

Back to reality, the tag team division has been dominated by the New Day for a while, and its unclear who the next challenging team could be besides the Usos. WWE is heavily promoting the pairing of Goldust and R-Truth as the “Golden Truth” before they have even teamed in one match. Could this be the team that takes on the New Day at Fast Lane or even Wrestlemania 32?

The divas division has a few major storylines going on. First, Brie Bella pinned the champion Charlotte, which appears to be leading to a title match at Fastlane. Then Sasha Banks has broken away from Team B.A.D. and has forged a temporary alliance with Becky Lynch. These two feuds will continue on Raw and will likely lead to two matches on Fastlane.

Kevin Owens has been on a losing streak to smaller guys with losses to Dolph Ziggler and Kalisto. This could turn into a US Title feud, or keep KO feuding with Ziggler. Alberto Del Rio is booked in a return match for the United States title at Fastlane 2016 against Kalisto. The other secondary champion, Dean Ambrose as Intercontinental Champion, is not expected to defend the title at the PPV.

The Wyatt Family was absent from Raw last week due to Bray Wyatt’s grandfather’s illness. They are expected to be back on Raw and all over the show, to continue feuds with Brock Lesnar, as well as possibly Roman Reigns, Kane and/or the Undertaker.

This is what the Key Arena is promoting for the show, including presumably the pre-planned dark match main event:
Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose VS Kevin Owens and Rusev!

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho Live!

WWE Monday Night Raw returns to KeyArena, Monday February 8! This will be your chance to see your favorite WWE Superstars and Divas.

All this plus the latest with Chris Jericho and A.J. Styles, the Social Outcasts, the remaining members of the League of Nations, and of course tons of Stephanie McMamhon.

WWE.com Five Points Preview:

  1. Loony and The Beast -= Will Ambrose get his pound of flesh from The Beast, with The Big Dog by his side
  2. What’s Y2J’s endgame? – Expect Jericho to pay very close attention to whatever awaits Styles on Raw.
  3. B.A.D. blood – Becky and Sasha are by no means exchanging friendship bracelets at this point, but they have formed a united front against Naomi and Tamina
  4. Will The Wyatt Family cut The Big Guy down to size? – Ryback had best be cautious this week
  5. Golden opportunity – Will Goldust find success this week?
