The go-home edition of Monday Night Raw for the Fastlane 2016 PPV is tonight live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA!

With the emotional retirement of Daniel Bryan last week on Raw, there wasn’t as much progressed towards the PPV and Wrestlemania. But that should change in a big way on Raw.

The hype is being focused around Dean Ambrose and his role in the three way main event of Fastlane. Ambrose went after Brock Lesnar last week, and with the help of the Big Dog Roman Reigns, they took Lesnar down with a low blow. How will the followup lead into the PPV match? That will be the lynchpin of this week’s Raw.

WWE.com on the lead story:
We’re on the fast lane to, well, WWE Fastlane, and Dean Ambrose appears to have taken his life into his own hands by baiting Brock Lesnar down the stretch. But is The Lunatic Fringe’s strategy really as spacy as it sounds? And, with Daniel Bryan gone and Nikki Bella recovering from neck surgery, can Brie Bella do her husband and sister proud as she prepares to face Charlotte for the Divas Title? WWE.com has some ideas.

There are tons of rumors

A major storyline from last week’s Raw that was followed up on Smackdown was the heel turn of the Dudley Boyz. On Smackdown, Bubba and DVon swore off tables, making them true heels. Their renewed vigor as bad guys should continue on Raw, with hopefully Bubba given more mic time.

The Divas division has two core storylines right now. The first is the inexplicable short-term push of Brie Bella, who beat Charlotte clean a couple weeks ago. With her husband Daniel Bryan now retired, Brie is getting a Divas Title shot at the Fastlane PPV. Will WWE continue this by having Brie actually win the title? We should get some clues on Raw.

The other major divas story is Sasha Banks slow turn to a good guy, now teaming with Becky Lynch against her former partners in Team B.A.D. While a tag match is already planned for the PPV, a third member of Team B.A.D. debuted at house shows this weekend in the form of Namoi’s former partner Cameron.

Here is the WWE.com Five Points Preview:

  1. Those damn, dirty Dudleys – The Dudleys have set the table for themselves to prove they’re still a force to be reckoned with in today’s WWE
  2. Giants among men – There are plenty of those to go around, so who has The New Face of Fear marked as his next victim?
  3. Never go out of Styles -That ties Y2J and The Phenomenal One at one win apiece, so one would think the stage is set for some kind of rubber match
  4. Come at the Queen – Brie was out of action on Monday to be by Bryan’s side, which meant Charlotte was free to build momentum with a second victory over Alicia Fox
  5. Running the Asylum – Now that Ambrose has put The Beast on notice, will he turn his attention to The Big Dog next?
