Every week, the Inside Pulse Ratings Report takes a look at the latest TV ratings for all major wrestling shows in the United States. For each show, the latest ratings are analyzed, and compared with the last 5 and 10 week trends.

Hey everyone and welcome to an all new feature at Inside Pulse Wrestling – the weekly Wrestling Ratings Report or the WRR.

Rather than post ratings news in drips, each week we will collect all the major show TV ratings updates, and compared them with the last few weeks and months for trend analysis.

With Wrestlemania right around the corner, now is the perfect time to take a look not only at WWE ratings, but all the major shows in the United States wrestling TV landscape.

WWE Monday Night Raw

Monday Night Raw continued a downward trend in ratings, averaging 3.4 million viewers and a 1.19 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic for the three hour broadcast. This week’s ratings represent the lowest numbers since the January 11th episode which only attracted 3.323 million viewers with a 1.18 demo rating.

Here is the hourly breakdown:
8 PM: 1.16 demo rating (3.466 million viewers)
9 PM: 1.20 demo rating (3.416 million viewers)
10 PM: 1.20 demo rating (3.317 million viewers)

This week’s episode of WWE Thursday Night Smackdown on the USA Network did 2,260,000 viewers. That’s up 74,000 viewers from the week prior and that is actually significant, because there was a lot of competition with the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament as opposition.

Lucha Underground Season 2

Ratings:
Lucha Underground saw an huge jump in viewership numbers and ratings for this week’s new episode. The March 23rd, 2016 episode brought in 163,000 viewers and a 0.06 in the 18 – 49 demographic, up 63% and double from last week’s 100,000 viewers and 0.03 demo rating. The viewership is a new series high, topping the 152,000 viewers that the February 17th episode pulled in. The rating tied that week’s demo number.

Lucha Underground also ranked among the night’s top 150 cable originals for the first time, coming in at #137.

Total Divas saw a minor uptick in viewership this week while ratings stayed even. Last night’s episode brought in 663,000 viewers and a 0.31 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, up 2% and even respectively from 650,000 and a 0.31 demo rating last week. The viewership is the best for the show since the Febuary 23th episode brought in 777,000 viewers.
