– Becky Lynch spoke with Sam Roberts for a new interview on his podcast. Some excerpts are below:

On having a big match at WrestleMania: “I think it’s almost too big for my brain to comprehend right now. But I know when I’m there then, I think that’s going to add everything. But for now, my sole focus is on this match, to be there with two people who I respect so much and who I’ve worked with so long and who’ve been such and important part of my journey, knowing that I’ve started with NXT like, less than three years ago, and now being in a top spot at WrestleMania, it’s just unbelievable and unfathomable.”

On not winning the NXT Women’s Title: “That was a goal of mine, but I missed that goal. I skipped it and sometimes you don’t get every shot that you take, but every shot that you do take is getting you closer to scoring the goal. So whether I won, whether I lost, whether I lose again, I’m going to keep trying and now the goal keeps getting higher and higher and the stakes get higher and it gets harder. But, ultimately, my eye has always been on the top spot. That’s being the champion up here.”

On the differences between NXT and the main roster: “Training, obviously, you don’t have nearly as much time to train. You don’t have as much time to prepare your food when you’re on the road. You might not get as much time to sleep. I just love traveling and especially road tripping around America and everything like that. You get to see these, like, cool little towns that I never would’ve seen before.”

On if Finn Balor is jealous that she will make it to WrestleMania before him: “No, I don’t think so for a single second. Knowing Finn, I think he is probably just at home supporting me knowing that he’s going to be there very soon and in the main event.”
