WWE Monday Night Raw 04/04/2016 Highlights (Post-Wrestlemania Crowd, Big Night of NXT Debuts & Returns, Shane McMahon In Charge, Roman Reigns Booed)

News, Top Story

It was one of the most insane Raws of the year tonight from Dallas, with Monday Night Raw post-Wrestlemania edition.

It started with Vince McMahon giving control of Raw to Shane McMahon anyway, albeit temporarily.

Roman Reigns came out for a promo segment bathed in boos, and called out any contenders, with Chris Jericho, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens answering him. They were booked in a four way match. Later Sami was taken out by Kevin Owens, but was replaced in the match by a returning CESARO!

It was a show of debuts, with many NXT superstars making their main roster debuts.

After a tables match between the Dudley Boyz and Usos, Enzo and Big Cass made their debut to a raucous reaction. Likewise, the Vaudevillains were announced to debut on Smackdown.

Apollo Crews made his main roster debut squashing Tyler Breeze.

Charlotte was presented the WWE Women’s title by Lita, and started a fight with Becky Lynch.

In the end, AJ Styles beat Chris Jericho with the Styles Clash to become the new #1 contender.
