DC Comics Rebirth (full DC Rebirth checklist here) is coming and we know there are big status quos changes for the Superman Family. It all starts with the last DC New 52 Superman Family series arc called Super League. It includes the debut of a New Super-Man and of a Superwoman both of which get their own DC Rebirth series. And, Supergirl gets her own series and a make-over.
It all begins in the last days of the New 52 Superman in Super-League!

While we will see the pre-Flashpoint Superman, currently starring in the Lois and Clark mini-series alongside their son Jonathan, in this concluding New 52 Superman arc, we don’t see him in this issue despite the cool variant cover.
Action Comics #51 opens with Superman “freeing” Supergirl from DEO in National City, but all is not as it appears….
…since Supergirl willingly sought out DEO’s help.
We see more in China as the monster that scarped Superman got some of his blood which is used by teh Chinese researchers presumably to create the New Super-Man.
We also have this glowing Superman entity, that believes he/it is Superman and Clark Kent, and has taken over a Trucker Driver’s body.
Interestling, the New 52 Lois Lane, who will presumably be Rebirth’s Superwoman subdues him/it.
Superman is looking for someone to take on his legacy, and protect the Earth, and leaves that for his cousin who… accepts.
All the while, Superman’s girlfriend is the last to know he’s dying!
Here comes Wonder Woman!

Very curious as how the New 52 Lois Lane becomes Superwoman and how China’s New Super-Man emerges. A solid arc so far as the New 52 Superman’s Curt Swan song.
