Wrestling Ratings Report 05.15.2016: Viewership Down Across the Board for Raw, Smackdown, Impact, Lucha Underground

Every week, the Inside Pulse Wrestling Ratings Report takes a look at the latest TV ratings for all major wrestling shows in the United States. For each show, the latest ratings are analyzed, and compared with the last 5 and 10 week trends.

WWE had a rough week seeing declines again on both Raw and Smackdown.

TNA and Lucha Underground also saw very low ratings, with LU having a season-low viewership.

American Grit finally stopped the bleeding and saw an increase for the first time week to week.

Here are all the latest ratings with 10 week trends!

WWE Monday Night Raw

Raw on 5/9 did a 2.26 rating and 3,231,000 viewers (1.49 viewers per home), the second lowest number for a non-major holiday show outside of football season since 1997.

The only show that did worse was the 4/25 show that did a 2.19 rating and 3,116,000 viewers.

WWE Thursday Night Smackdown

WWE Smackdown was down from last week’s numbers. Last night’s episode brought in 2.262 million viewers and a 0.67 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, down 4% and 6% from last week. The numbers were still higher than the 2.109 million and 0.64 demo rating from two weeks ago, however.

Impact Wrestling slipped for the second week in a row in the ratings. Tuesday’s episode brought in 280,000 viewers and a 0.08 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, down 8% and 11% from last week’s 303,000 and a 0.09 demo rating.

Lucha Underground Season 2

This week’s episode of Lucha Underground on El Rey was a season low, bringing in only 96,000 viewers and a 0.02 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, down 30% and 0.01 from last week’s 138,000 viewers and 0.03 demo rating. It is the first time the show fell under 100,000 viewers since the February 24th episode, the second of the season, did 99,000 viewers.
