Rabblecast 453 – Muhammad Ali, Kimbo Slice

The Fight World lost two big names in recent weeks. Kimbo Slice(Kevin Ferguson, aged 42) made his name in the underground fight scene. Dubbed, “The King of the Web Brawlers” by Rolling Stones magazine, Kimbo’s fight videos went viral. Factor in an undefeated boxing career and Kimbo soon found himself fighting in the Octagon for company’s such as Elite XC, UFC, and Bellator MMA. He was still under contract with Bellator at the time of his passing.

Then of course there is, “The Greatest of All Time”, Muhammad Ali(born Cassius Clay, aged 74). Ali was an American Olympic and professional boxer and activist. He is widely regarded as one of the most significant and celebrated sports figures of the 20th century. From early in his career, Ali was known as an inspiring, controversial and polarizing figure both inside and outside the ring.
