Here is a quick look at some highlights on the shelves this week. Seems like a relatively light week so just a couple of things to talk about, plus a few new TPBs and HCs, so without further ado let’s dive in…

New This Week:

The Fuse 19Flintstones #1 – The next series of DC’s/WB line is here, starring everyone’s favorite Paleolithic family! I’m not a big fan of Scooby Apocalypse so far, but Future Quest was very good. Plus, check out the long list variant covers from some great artists.

Batman ’66 Meets Steed and Mrs. Peel #1 – I am still bummed the flagship ‘66 series is gone but these crossover mini-series have been a great substitute.

Batman Beyond #14 – The reveal from last issue was big and I’m interested to see where this arc takes us. This series has taken some liberties from the TV show so it has a sort of ‘elseworld’ feel to it.

The Fuse #19 – Arc four begins here! This has been one of my favorites, a great series so far with no signs of slowing down.

Paper Girls #7 – The girls are about to seriously mess with time travel. This will get fun.

Other issues I’m looking forward to:

Batman #2, Bounty #1Empress #4Future Quest #2Injustice: Gods Among Us – Year Five #13Justice League: Rebirth #1The Lone Ranger / The Green Hornet #1Midnight of the Soul #2Star Wars: Han Solo #2The Woods #24

Collected Editions

PreacherA-Force Vol 1 TPB – The women of Marvel, including She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, and America Chavez, team-up to take on the universe. Both the “Secret Wars” arc and the new series are very good, highly recommended.

Absolute Preacher Vol 1 – A now classic series, this over-sized edition collects issues #1-26. Fan of the show? Check this out asap!

Deadly Class Deluxe Vol 1 – Holy cow, the end of arc 3, right? This deluxe edition collects the first three arcs, everything you need to pick up the next issue and beginning of the fourth arc in September.
