The 1970’s Wonder Woman TV series featuring actress Lynda Carter aired from 1975 to 1979 on CBS while The Bionic Woman featuring actress Lindsay Wagner, a spin-off of the Six Million Dollar Man starring Lee Majors, aired from 1975 to 1978 on ABC and NBC.

Carter and Wagner were two strong female role models on TV as the lead not a damsel in distress. The actresses bonded and became friends in real-life, but their paths as Bionic Woman and Wonder Woman never passed on screen, but they will now in a comic book mini-series!

As reported in the New York Times, Wonder Woman ’77 / Bionic Woman mini-series will hit stands from Dynamite and DC Comics with writer Andy Mangels with an artist to be announced.

Expect more details during San Diego Comic Con 2016 (SDCC 2016).
