During San Diego Comic Con 2016 (SDCC 2016) it was announced that in addition to CBS airing its new Star Trek TV series on its CBS All Access platform in the United States, the global and Canadian homes for the new Star Trek series have been announced.
Netflix will carry CBS Star Trek TV series in 188 countries 24 hours after an episode’s U.S. debut. In Canada, Bell Media will roll out CBS’ Star Trek TV series by debuting it on CTV with further episodes airing on Space.
The series is set to debut in January 2017 with filming starting in September 2016 in Canada.
