Today at the SDCC, Warner Bros. dropped the first trailer from Justice League in Hall H. And by the looks of this footage it’s possible that Zack Snyder and the rest of the creative team learned some valuable lessons from the making of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Lighten up. Have some fun.
All you really need to know is that the footage does its best to establish Arthur Curry (ahem, Aquaman) as a bad ass. Slow-motion walk. Chugging whiskey. Smashing bottle. I’m sold.
Nebbish Barry Allen (The Flash) is quick to join the fight, unlike Curry, on account he doesn’t have any friends – super, special or otherwise.
Ben Affleck is still the best Bruce Wayne. Period.
Jason Mamoa as Curry looks to be channeling WWE’s Roman Reigns. Or is it the other way around? Either way, I already want an Aquaman movie. And no, James Cameron’s version starring Vincent Chase doesn’t count!
