During San Diego Comic Con 2016 (SDCC 2016), DC Comics / DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer provided tips and advice to fans about what is the next big thing for DC in the Rebirth era.
He actually noted that “Legion (of Super-Heroes), JSA, Dr. Manhattan, the seeds have been planted.” Wow, I think that’s the first DC exec to acknowledge Dr. Manhattan, of The Watchmen fame, role in DC Universe Rebirth #1 despite it being hinted at very well in the issue that is now up to a fourth print.
Interestingly, Geoff Johns also suggested that readers “watch ‘Detective Comics'” and noted that Action Comics’ “Mr. Oz’s clues” were also an important.
He also noted that “I one-thousand percent have plans for Justice Society.”
