This is a special time since you can get the latest version of the Power Rangers and finally collect the complete sets of a more resent transformation. Power Rangers Dino Charge: Breakout busts out another four episodes from the series currently running on Nickelodeon. The four episodes on the disc are “When Logic Fails,” “The Royal Rangers,” “Breakout” and “Knight After Knights.” These show keeps up the dinosaur fun as the Rangers have to battle the Ptera Zord. Plus we get to meet the Gold Ranger.
Power Rangers MegaForce: The Complete Set brings together the 5 DVDs that were issued with all the episodes. Gosei must find another five kids to defend the world from the evil Warstar aliens. The action is rather good as the new kids quickly pick up how to battle strange monsters that are out to control humanity.
Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Complete Season brings back the kids with a new Super element. Gosei discovers there’s a bigger attack force on the way. He has to upgrade the Rangers. This is best known as the nautical season as the Rangers wear psychedelic pirate outfits. There’s futuristic saber fighting. You quickly tell these episodes apart from the other entries with the sailor theme. They also have the added bonus that the Rangers can now summon older Power Rangers to help them in big battles. It’s over the top action. Both complete sets repackage the original single DVDs together.

The video is 1.78:1 anamorphic. The transfers are fine enough for the action that blends English productions with the special effects from the Japanese productions. The audio is Dolby Digital Stereo. The episodes are Closed Captioned.
