WWE posted 121 photos of WWE World Champions from history from Buddy Rogers to current champion A.J. Styles.
The photos also include names you would expect like the Macho Man Randy Savage, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Roman Reigns and many others. Even superstars on the outs with WWE currently have photos in the honor parade; two photos for C.M. Punk and…
…two photos for Alberto Del Rio.
Even a short-term champ like The Miz has one photo in the retrospective.
However, there are none, as in zero, for Hulk Hogan, the man most credited for bringing wrestling into the mainstream in the 1980s and starting WWE on the trajectory it is now as a major world wide pop culture dynamo.
Despite reports that Hulk Hogan was close to returning to the WWE, after he was let go in July 2015 over racist remarks he made on a leaked intimate tape, it seems that WWE continues to scrub Hulk Hogan from its history. A return may not be imminent.
