Superman #14 serves as a Multiversity sequel as Multiversity Too has yet to hit stands.

Excluding the current Superman headlining two ongoing series in DC Rebirth, there are 16 Supermen that appear in this issue. We do a Who’s Who of each Earth below.

DC Comics Rebirth Spoilers / Multiversity Sequel Spoilers follow for Superman #14.

The book opens with The Red Son Superman of…

…Earth 30.

The Prophecy has is Gatherers going across the multiverse collecting Supermen. The Red Son Superman traveled to Earth 0 as Kenan Kong, the New Super-Man is next on the Lyst (yes, that’s the spelling of it).

It appears that the Superman that anchors Action Comics and the Superman DC Rebirth series they’re after – as he’s some kind of anomaly – that may be finally explained after the Multiplicity arc in the Superman Reborn arc.

Anyhow, Kenan Kong is captured in the issue.

Despite the presence of the Justice League Incarnate…

…and its leader the black President Superman of…

…Earth 23.

BTW, in Multiversity they were just the Justice Incarnate whereas…

…in DC Rebirth the word League was added to the team name.

Anyhow, with the capture of Kenan Kong, the New Super-Man, it is revealed that the Justice League Incarnate cannot track where the captive Supermen are.

However, while the Justice League Incarnate don’t know where the captive Supermen are, readers get to see which Superman are captured and how they’re being held.

First, here’s a look at DC’s multiverse.

Second, here’s the breakdown of the captive Supermen.

Earth 29 – Bizarro Superman

Earth 43 – “Holy Terror” Vampire Superman

Earth 32 – Superman & Martian Manhunter amalgam

Earth 0 (Prime Earth) – New Super-Man

Earth 47 – Prez world’s Sunshine Superman

Earth 2 – “A” Superman, but not sure which one

Earth 11 – Superwoman

Earth 50 – Justice Lord Superman

Earth 31 – Pirate Superman

Earth 22 – Kingdom Come Superman

Earth 45 – Superman & Doomsday amalgam

Earth 38 – A “Generations” Superman

Earth 1 – Superman

Earth 26 – Captain Carrot

Superman #14 ends with Captain Carrot being dealt an interesting fate at the hands of new villain Prophecy.

First, he’s taken from his cell…

…and presumably has his “Superman” powers stolen.

What is Prophecy after?

So…

An entertaining issue with great story by Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Glean with stunning art by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado. A very accessible and fun read. Highly recommended. 9 out of 10.
