The day after she finished as the runner-up on Big Brother Canada 5, I had the chance to catch up with Karen Singbeil to discuss what happened. I immediately asked Karen to explain her beef with Kevin. We talked about when Kevin joked that he had Karen had a final two for the entire game and how angry that made her. Karen said that she felt like her issue with the eventual winner actually helped her in the game as that made her see the moves that was supposed to make. We talked about the praise that Karen’s final plea received from both the jury and the fans and if she really felt like she carried Ika and Demetres to the endgame. I asked her to rationalize her decision to save Ika over Dillon after Kevin used the veto and we chatted about whether she felt like people undervalued her game. Finally, I asked her if she thought Demetres and Ika owed her their jury votes because she saved them so many times in the game.
