However, the real meat of the issue revolves around Eobard Thawne Reverse Flash.
The first reveal, from the future looking back, is that the Reverse Flash and Flash will become allies.
The book opens with the corps of the Reverse Flash, Eobard Thawne, on the journey. There is a spark in his eye socket through.
Then we get a trip down the past. Including the return of Jay Garrick, the Flash of the JSA / Justice Society Rebirth in the pages of the recent Batman / Flash: The Button cross-over.
We also are reminded of how many loves ones of the Flash, Barry Allen, the Reverse Flash has killed…
…over not one, not two, but…
…three pages making the future ally reveal seem more implausible.
The book ends with Wally West, Kid Flash, and his aunt Iris West, Barry Allen’s girlfriend…
…running into a revived Reverse Flash?
He also puts to rest the notion that Daniel West was THE Reverse Flash.
Eobard Thawne claims to be the one and only Reverse-Flash!
The march to Flash #25 should interesting.
