- Part 3 from Deathstroke #19 (spoilers here); and
- Part 4 from Teen Titans
AnnualSpecial #1 (spoilers here).
The changes for the Titans, Teen Titans and Deathstroke were unexpected and actually consequential (FULL spoilers here).
We start to see that in Deathstroke #20.
DC Comics Rebirth and Lazarus Contract Aftermath Spoilers follow for Deathstroke #20 and beyond.
Deathstroke #20 sees Slade Wilson seemingly give up being a mercenary killer after having a taste of his Speedforce powers mourning the death of son Grant Wilson aka the Ravager twice.
It all leads into Deathgstroke #21 where Deathstroke’s New Teen Titans team, Defiance, take center stage. Will Deathstroke #20 see him recruit the team members?
If you want to get a sense of who these Defiance characters are, check DC Comics historical bios or Who’s Who for each.
(1) Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson
(2) Jericho aka Joseph Wilson
(3) Ravager aka Rose Wilson
(4) Terra aka Tara Markov
(5) Power Girl aka Tanya Spears
(6) Kid Flash aka Wally West
With DC Comics Rebirth seemingly getting at the essence of DC characters, and merging their personas and histories with pre-Flashpoint history, these bios may be somewhat helpful in understanding what makes these characters tick; well, with the exception of the sparse Kid Flash one anyway.
Also, Blastr/Syfy have a look at Deathstroke #20 which is billed as a Lazarus Contract Epilogue.
So, do these teaser and preview pages intrigue you enough to pick up the issue?
