Before James Gunn was given the keys to the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, he just trying to guard a little town from crawling creepers. Slither was Gunn’s directorial debut after his tenure at Troma and writing several scripts. He properly cast it with Nathan Fillion, Michael Rooker and Elizabeth Banks along with their squishy co-stars.
