DC Comics Rebirth Spoilers for Hal Jordan and The Green Lantern Corps #25 follow.
Soranik Natu, Sinestro’s daughter and head of the Yellow Lantern Corps aka the Sinestro Corps is incensed over a Green Lantern killing a Yellow Lantern. That GL has been stripped of his ring and will go to prison; a new ringbearer will replace him. However, Natu has fully embraced her father’s legacy and wants revennge, but is unable to because John Stewart had a Green Impurity added to the Yellow Lantern Battery that means that Sinestro Lantern rings don’t work against someone with greater will; namely the Green Lantern Corps. Guy Gardner is impressed and Soranik feels betrayed.
The Yellow Lantern Battery is being dismantled so not sure how Soranik Natu’s yellow ring will be powered; perhaps a story for another day.
And, many of the Sinestro Corps have now become Green Lantern Corps members. Is there anyone left beyond Soranik Natu in the Yellow Lantern Corps?
The burden of leadership weighs heavily on John Stewart, but he is optimistic about the future.
However, the Sinestro Corps is not dead as, it appears, Lyssa Drak and Sinestro himself it seems, have ended up in the anti-matter world / universe of Qward?
Definitely, not the end the of the Sinestro Corps.
