DC Comics Rebirth and Dark Nights Metal Spoilers involving Shazam and the Captain Marvel Family follow.
During San Diego Comic Con 2017 (SDCC 2017), which occurred over the last weekend, DC Comics Co-Publisher Dan DiDio indicated that DC loved the character of Shazam, but didn’t have the right pitch yet.
Well, in a recent interview, Dark Nights: Metal writer Scott Snyder seemed to contradict DiDio in a way that may make fans happy.
- I’m not allowed to say [what DC’s plans are for Shazam]. But we have tremendous enthusiasm and interest for that character, and I think you’ll start to see clues of a lot of stuff coming with him in different ways in the future in Metal.
I can say that there are definitely big plans at DC for Shazam and for Captain Marvel and the whole Marvel family.
Hmmm. That seems promising. Will we get a Dark Matter branded Shazam title?
