DC Comics Spoilers and SDCC follow-up for follow through.

During San Diego Comic Con 2017 (SDCC 2017) we had the DC announcement of Green Lantern Earth One by Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman.

However, will this ever see the light of day since two earlier Earth One books have yet to hit stands?

During SDCC 2015, DC Comics announced:

The first will J. Michael Straczynski penned and called The Flash: Earth One. This follows JMS having written 3 volumes of Superman: Earth One. The artist was not announced.

In addition, writer-artist Francis Manapul will bring readers Aquaman: Earth One.

No update from DC Comics is available on either, but JMS had indicated in the past that he never got a contract to sign for his Earth One book. No word on Manapul’s Earth One project.

Fingers crossed.

Also, with the Multiversity set to make a splash in Dark Nights Metal #1…

…we thought we’d follow up on DC’s other SDCC 2015 announcement around Multiversity:

…“MULTIVERSITY TOO,” a line of original graphic novels based on his groundbreaking and bestselling titles from “The Multiversity” series of monthly comics and his “MULTIVERSITY GUIDEBOOK.”

Despite DC Comics embracing a new line of OGNs by top creators at SDCC 2017, will that see the light of day as we’re still waiting on Multiversity Too OGNs?
