DC Comics Rebirth spoilers and November 2017 solicitation spoilers for Batman: The Signal follow.
Yesterday we broke the news of Duke Thomas, aka the Signal, getting a new costume for his upcoming series from DC Comics.
Last week we reported on the news that the Batman: The Signal would be a 3-issues mini-series and not an ongoing series.
Today, Hollywood Reporter has revealed the following:
- confirmed that that the art revealed yesterday is a cover (yet states the cover reveal was “exclusive” for release today) for the mini-series,
- confirms it will be a 3-issue mini-series (not an ongoing series as rumored),
- notes it will be called Batman and the Signal (not Batman: the Signal),
- indicates it will be launched in November 2017,
- revealed the creative team of co-writers Scott Snyder and Tony Patrick with interior art by Cully Hamner, and
- released the formal solicitation.
No reference to the mini-series being under the Dark Matter imprint or whether the mini-series takes place during or after the conclusion of Dark Nights: Metal.
