The recent arrival of Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In on DVD reminded many of the comic genius of Lily Tomlin. While certain performers peaked during their time on the show, Tomlin went on to do so much. One of her big projects was The Incredible Shrinking Woman which played off the original movie that was more male oriented. While the earlier film had its character reduced because of atomic fallout, Tomlin’s housewife falls victim to the elements of being a housewife.
