The Disappearance is a new six-part mini-series that sees how a family copes with a young child’s disappearance. Tonight’s series premiere opens with what Anthony (played by Michael Riendeau) was doing before he vanished and continues by following the family as the investigation into his disappearance continues. As the family works together to solve the mystery, long-held secrets are uncovered.

At CTV’s 2017 upfront presentation, I caught up with The Disappearance‘s Camille Sullivan and Joanne Kelly. We chatted about the six-part miniseries about a child who goes missing and how the family copes with the loss. We talked about the dark subject matter and how the writers and cast were able to take risks with such a limited run of episodes.
