Matt Graham

  • MMPR #20 – Still my favourite superhero team book. All the fun and action, very little of the baggage of the other publishers.
  • Mother Panic #12 – Excellently written and wondrously illustrated, Mother Panic is my favourite Young Animal book. Maybe my favourite DC book. It’s an offbeat superhero book where Jody Houser looks at the trauma that molds our Gotham vigilantes and takes the time to examine one a human level without skimping on the Gotham surreal horror and violence we expect.
  • Captain Marvel #125 – I fell off this book when Margaret Stohl first came on, not because I didn’t like her first issue, but that I didn’t like what Marvel was doing with Carol after Civil War 2. That instinct proved correct for me with Secret Empire. Now that she’s refreshed AGAIN, I’m interested but wary with that big Avenger event coming up in the New Year.
  • WW #33
  • Glitterbomb #2
  • Deadly Class #31
  • AN Wolverine #26
  • DD #28
  • Jean Grey #8
  • X-Men Blue #14

James Fulton

  • Eternity #1 – I worry that Valiant went to the Divinity hole one or two times too many, and that Eternity is just the next iteration of that story, but at the same time, I trust Matt Kindt completely, so expect that this will be good.
  • Southern Cross #13 I’ve waited a while now to see Becky Cloonan and Andy Belanger’s series get to its final arc, so I’m excited to find out where everything has been headed.

Aside from these titles, I’m also looking forward to new issues of Rebels, Copperhead, Deadly Class (always), Outcast, Saga, Black Panther, Unsound, Bloodshot Salvation, and X-O Manowar.

Phil Allen

  • Jughead: The Hunger #1 – Between the sporadic release of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the indefinite hiatus of Afterlife Archie, I’m glad (but maybe a little skeptical) to see another Archie Horror series be added to the mix. The one-shot was pretty good, so I’m betting this will be too.
  • DC House of Horror – I’m glad to see these holidays specials coming back, I missed them after New52 started.
  • Nightwing: New Order #3 – I dropped the regular Nightwing series a while ago so I’m glad this is so good. I’ve been a fan of Kyle Higgins since the Gates of Gotham mini-series, the Bat-world seems to be a good fit for him.
  • Copperhead #15 – New arc! I’m glad this series seems back on a regular schedule.
  • Saga #48 – End of Arc. Sad.
  • Other issues I’m looking forward to:
  • Action Comics #990
  • Angelic #2
  • Batman: The Merciless #1
  • Batman Beyond#13
  • Detective Comics #967
  • Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps #31
  • Shadow #3
  • Star Wars: Jedi of The Republic – Mace Windu #3
  • Wayward #24

  • SILVER SURFER #14 – SILVER SURFER was actually my favorite comic when I started reading comics around 25 years ago.  Jim Starlin and Ron Lim were an amazing team.  The last few years, Dan Slott and Mike Allred have done an amazing job on Surfer too.  This issue marks the end of their run.  I am sad to see them go, but I will always cherish the amazing SILVER SURFER story they have told.
  • DC HOUSE OF HORROR #1 – $10 is a pretty big ticket for this, but I love Halloween and Christmas themed comic stories, so I pretty much have to buy this one.
  • ETERNITY #1 – The next chapter in the DIVINITY saga.  This time, Divinity is delving into alternate realities.  DIVINITY has been one of my favorite comic stories over the last few years, and I’m just glad to get more.
  • JUGHEAD THE HUNGER #1 – A new Archie horror book!  Hopefully this one will manage to stick to a release schedule, something AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE and SUBRINA have failed to do over the years.
  • CAPTAIN MARVEL #125 – I will never learn my lesson.  Every time Carol Danvers gets a new creative team, I always check it out, and I am pretty much always disappointed.  But once again, I am really hopeful that someone can make Carol interesting again.
  • DETECTIVE COMICS #967 – Last issue, it was hinted that Superboy was being held in the same place as Tim Drake.  Hoping to get a real Young Justice reunion in this series!
  • Dark Ark #2
  • Fu Jitsu #2
  • Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #20
  • WWE #10
  • Action Comics #990
  • Batgirl #16
  • Batman Beyond #13
  • Batman The Merciless #1
  • Flash #33
  • Hal Jordan And The Green Lantern Corps #31
  • Justice League Of America #17
  • Kamandi Challenge #10 (Of 12)
  • Nightwing The New Order #3 (Of 6)
  • Ruff And Reddy Show #1 (Of 6)
  • Suicide Squad #28

  • U.S.Avengers #11
  • Weapon X #10
  • X-Men Blue #14
  • Bloodshot Salvation #2
  • X-O Manowar #8
