DVD Review – Teen Wolf (Season 6, Part 2)

DVD Reviews, Reviews

Even Buffy had to end at some point, going from a particular point of nerd fandom into pop culture lexicon over the years. Teen Wolf finds itself at that point and it’s kind of remarkable in a way.

A bad joke at first when announced, taking a staple 80s comedy and making it an edgy werewolf drama with teenagers, it’s managed to find a niche in that same Buffy style by reimagining the Michael J Fox comedy into an edgy drama. Wrapping up a final season by spreading 20 episodes over 2 parts, Teen Wolf, the show wraps up every loose thread possible.

This is the final half of the senior year of high school and the gang has things to take care of. The show takes great care to wind up the series, leaving us with a great image (and a potential to revisit the show years from now) but leaving nothing in the tank, either. Teen Wolf winds up his run as a Buffy for another generation.

Nothing of note.
