The book opens with some context setting about the vastness of the multiverse…
…leading into the Dark Multiverse and Barbatos’ Bruce Wayne as Green Lantern aka Batman The Dawnbreaker vs. the main DC universe’s Hal Jordan Green Lantern.
We learn the Dawnbreaker’s ring absorbs light, different from Hal Jordan’s ring, so he crates a strobe setting with his ring and they two fight over a few pages.
It looks like Hal Jordan has the upperhand in the battle and he cancels the strobe while pintificating about how he doesn’t wear his Green Lantern ring, but he IS his Green Lantern ring.
Yet, Hal Jordan is defeated by the dark Bruce Wayne Dawnbreaker.
