WWE has announced on their website that they have released current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore.
This breaking news comes on the tails of the shocking news yesterday which revealed that Amore (real name Eric Arndt) is being investigated by Arizona police for sexual assault and rape.
The incident, which took place this past October, was spoken about publicly for the first time by the alleged victim on Twitter yesterday afternoon. WWE originally suspended Amore indefinitely until more information was obtained but he was released fully from his contract earlier today.
