Marvel Comics Legacy & Avengers No Surrender Spoilers: Voyager, Doing Sentry Right & DC Comics’ Triumph?!

Spoilers, Top Story

Marvel Comics Legacy and Avengers No Surrender Spoilers follow.

Voyager and Doing Sentry Right Plus The Nod To DC Comics Triumph?!

Triumph, William MacIntyre, debuted in 1994 and died in 2000. He was retroactively made into the founding leader of the Justice League before disappearing in the timestream and being forgotten by his colleagues. He returned from the timestream after Zero Hour and did not return to his past glory.

Triumph is not to be confused with Captain Triumph.

How does this relate to Avengers No Surrender?

Well Voyager, Valerie Vector, has been retroactively made into a founding member of the Avengers.

She disappeared in battle with Victory the Electromagnectic Man…

…who bears a strong resemblance to Triumph.

FULL retconned history of Voyager is HERE.

Although, Marvel did do a similar retroactive insertion into its history with the Sentry, Robert Reynolds, years ago too…

…last seen the pages of Marvel Legacy’s Doctor Strange.

Sentry has not had a consistent presence in Marvel; it appears they Voyager to have more legs in their publishing line.
