WWE Prepping Shane McMahon’s Craziest Matches Compilation

News

Update: Shane McMahon Compilation has been pulled from WWE’s 2018 Release Calendar. To be replaced with a DVD release that’s TBD.

Is it weird to consider Shane McMahon one of SmackDown Live‘s best in-ring performers? Though he’s only a matinee attraction since his return to the WWE in February 2016 having appeared in matches against The Undertaker (WrestleMania 32) and against the likes to AJ Styles (WrestleMania 33), Kevin Owens (Hell in a Cell 2017), and a pair of Survivor Series elimination tag matches (in 2016 and 2017).

But things are different for Shane O Mac. He’s nearing fifty and his death-defying performances are taking their toll. Most of the WWE Universe know of Shane’s history in the promotion, when he was a European Champion and squared off against Kurt Angle in the famous street fight match from King of the Ring 2001, which included a botched German suplex where Shane McMahon landed on his head.

That was a crazy, crazy match and will likely find a place on the first WWE DVD compilation devoted to Shane O Mac. It’s called Shane McMahon’s Craziest Matches and it will be released in stores on June 12th (according to the Wrestling DVD Network).

The compilation will be a three-disc set full of Shane’s craziest and greatest moments. I’m sure we’ll see his numerous leaps of faith, his own version of the Van Terminator when he squared off against Vincent Kennedy McMahon at WrestleMania X-Seven, and of course his epic Hell in a Cell encounter with Kevin Owens. Though, with a theme song that has the lyrics “Here comes the money…” I’m surprised he’s yet to compete a Money in the Bank ladder match.

Shane McMahon is known as a huge risk-taker, who provides “OMG” moments on a regular basis. This compilation features all of his greatest & craziest matches, spanning his entire time in WWE. Featuring battles with Undertaker, Big Show, Randy Orton, Mankind, Kane, & more.
