Nickelodeon has been around for decades on your cable box and this month they channel releases DVDs that cover their latest hits, a hot new star, the historic past and reviving an iconic character.
Shimmer and Shine: Beyond the Rainbow Falls features the two genies in training as they learn about wishing water. Blaze and the Monster Machines: Heroes of Axle City is more adventures with cars that are alive and the boy that gets to ride along.
Jojo Siwa: My World is a 44 minute special about her big show at the Mall of America. The fans are all about bows in their hands. She’s been working for this career since she was 2 years old in Nebraska. She’s now 13 and rocking the mall. The bonus feature includes 4 songs. Josie’s cousin is a bigger fan. Josie is a bit jealous since Jojo is a Youtuber with more followers. Kids.
Do you want to feel old? The first episodes of Rugrats ran on Nickelodeon back in 1991. That’s 27 years ago. This means if you 13 when you saw that first episodes, you can legally have a grandchild. You can buy Rugrats shot glasses at Spencer’s Gifts at the mall. Although most O.G. fans are probably parents and want to share the fun found in the adventures of Pickle extended family. They have repackaged seasons 3 and 4 for a new generation of fans.
Finally we have the return of the character with the football shaped head with Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie. It’s been 13 years since his last original episode so they went big bringing him back. He ends up in San Lorenzo with his classmates looking for mom and dad. There’s battles with pirates and jungle creatures. Alfred Molina contributes his voice to the comeback.
