No Surrender Part 10 Reveals TRUE History Of Voyager Plus Reveals Her REAL Powers?!

Over the course of No Surrender series, we learned about Voyager’s alleged secret history in Avengers #676 (full spoilers here) including her alleged alter ego of Valerie Vector in Avengers #681 (full spoilers here) including the revelation about her alleged super-powers in Avengers #677 (full spoilers here).

Last issue in Avengers #683 (full spoilers here) a recovering Jarvis, the Avengers’ institutional memory, revealed Voyager was a fake and their memories of her as founding Avenger aren’t real just as she steals a pyramoid in the game between the Grandmaster and Challenger.

In this week’s Avengers #684 (full spoilers here) we learn who her father really is.

However, we also unpeel her true history, to an extent, this issue as well witness her true powers.

Last issue, Voyage turned on the Avengers and stole a pyramoid. This surprises Grandmaster and the Challanger who are playing their game on Earth with the Avengers, the Black Order and Lethal Legion as pawns.

The Beast, Wasp and Jarvis are still reeling from Voyager’s betrayal and believe that Jarvis was immune to history changing to include Voyager as a founding Avenger due his unique brain tumor that was removed last week.

Voyager than transports to the Avengers Bunker and brings, as the Red Hulk says, “the cosmic doorstep”…

…”to their doorstep”. Voyager locks herself and the pyramoid inside.

As she’s locked in, Voyager contemplates her past. She doesn’t feel she’s totally relied about her father being… the Grandmaster?! She’s also actually blue skinned to boot.

She’s learned at her father’s knee. In addition to have teleporting powers that before between spaces she…

…she can move between memories of others and insinuate herself in them.

She’s also ready to turn the tables on her father, but will she side the Challenger or is she now a wild card in the game they’re playing?

The book ends with a look at the gorgeous Marvel Brooks covers for the next three issues, Avengers #685 / No Surrender Part 11, Avengers #686 / No Surrender Part 12 and Avengers #687 / No Surrender part 13, over the next three weeks.

Voyager’s memory manipulation powers certainly has me relooking at the meaning of the…

…Avengers #687 / No Surrender part 13 cover.
