Toronto Comicon continues at Toronto’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre this weekend. The comic/gaming/horror/anime exhibition and features a variety of geek-culture events for all ages.
On Saturday, I had the chance to catch up with some of the celebrities who will be in attendance at the event.
I caught up with The Walking Dead‘s Seth Gilliam, who plays Gabriel on the show. We discussed a variety of subjects including the reason for the show’s popularity around the world. I asked the actor about how much religious research he had to do to prepare for the role. We also talked about the love-hate relationship fans of the show have with the character as Gabriel has had one of the most impressive character arcs on the series turning from a coward into a soldier. We talked about the show’s decision to kill off Chandler Riggs’ character and what the loss of Carl means moving forward. Finally, Seth and I chatted about the actors on the show almost all have a limited shelf life as writers could choose to kill off anyone at anytime.
