Murder and A New Mayor Of New York City?
Well, during the issue Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, and Mayor of New York literally sledgehammers Daredevil during battle and defeats him. This “victory” was also due in part to Daredevil indicating he wouldn’t fight Fisk to fuel his anti-Vigilante narrative.
As Daredevil is carted off by police, the Hand attack and seemingly kill Fisk!
That makes Deputy Mayor Matt Murdoch the Mayor of New York City…
…despite being in the back of a police van as Daredevil heading to be processed!
