The CW Returns 10 Shows Including 5 Of 6 DC TV Shows! Arrowverse, Black Lightning, Riverdale, Supernatural and More!
The CW announced that it is renewing 10 of its current series. That includes five of six DC TV shows:
- “Arrow” (Season 7)
- “The Flash” (Season 5)
- “Supergirl” (Season 4)
- “Legends of Tomorrow” (Season 4)
- “Black Lightning” (Season 2)
That leaves “iZombie” (Season 5) as the remaining DC TV to be decided upon by CW in May 2018 along with other on the bubble shows like “The 100”, “Valor” and “Life Sentence”.
Other shows renewed by CW include:
- “Supernatural” (Season 14)
- “Jane the Virgin” (Season 5)
- “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (Season 4)
- “Riverdale” (Season 3)
- “Dynasty” (Season 2)
CW president Mark Pedowitz said the following in a statement:
- “As The CW expands to a six-night, Sunday through Friday schedule next season, we are proud to have such a deep bench of great returning series for 2018-19. By picking these ten series up for next season, we have a terrific selection of programming to choose from when we set our fall schedule in May, with more still to come. And I’m especially happy that we’ll continue to work with the incredibly talented casts, producers, and writers who create the series our fans are so passionate about.”
Stability is the word for comic book fandom at CW.
