Ninja III: The Domination Receives A Collector’s Edition On June 12

Disc Announcements, News

If you only see one Cannon Film in your lifetime, let it be Ninja III: The Domination. You might be concerned that you won’t get the movie if you haven’t seen the previous two. Don’t fret about it. There’s nothing in those first two films to prepare you for the pure wildness of this 1984 classic. How wild does it get? The star of Breakin’ is a telephone lineman by day and an aerobics instructor at night. That’s normally enough for an ’80s plot that’s ripping off Flashdance. But there’s more on the screen. An evil ninja dies in battle and his spirt takes control of the aerobics instructor. Can she free her soul? James Hong (Kung Fu Panda) is down for the action. While Scream Factory came out with a Blu-ray back in 2013. Now five years later they’re giving it a Collector’s Edition which includes catching up with star Lucinda Dickey. This has everything you want from a Cannon Film: a desire to cash in on a trend, over the top action and a vanishing production budget. Here’s the press release from Scream Factory with the details:
