On Monday night’s performance finale, finalists Kyla Jade, Spensha Baker, Britton Buchanan and Brynn Cartelli squared off for the final time before a winner is crowned. The contestants were each asked to sing a solo cover, an original song and a duet with their respective coach.
I caught up with Britton Buchanan on the red carpet immediately after the show to get his take on his final competitive performances of the season. I asked him about being compared to Tom Brady and if he felt like he saved his best for last. I asked him about what it was like working with Alicia Keyes this season and why he chose to join her team. We also talked about what his record would potentially sound like.
