DC Comics Universe and Doomsday Clock #6 Spoilers follows.

Metahuman Arms Race Gets Hot As International Super-Teams Grown To Twelve!

RECAP:

As was revealed in the extras in the back-half of the last issue of Doomsday Clock (full spoilers here), the magazine Trouble Alert…

…revealed the existence of at least seven new geographic metahuman teams in the world’s meta-human arms race.

Those seven new superhero teams tied to different geography were:

    • The People’s Heroes for Russia and Eastern Europe
    • The Outsiders for Markovia
    • Justice League Europe for France
    • Knights Inc. for the United Kingdom
    • The Doomed (Doom Patrol) for India
    • Hayoth for Israel
    • The Great Twenty (up from the Great Ten) for China

Last issue, Doomsday Clock #5, also revealed, in the main story this time (full spoilers here), the revelation of an eighth team, the second one for Russia, namely the Rocket Red Brigade who tangled with Hawk and Dove.

There is also the thought that Black Adam, setting up his country of Kahndaq has a haven for metahumans, is building a metahuman army of his own.

So that is at least nine international metahuman teams in the metahuman arms race.

WHAT’S NEW:

Well Doomsday Clock #6 (spoilers here) includes extras in the back including a page from Trouble Alert revealing more geographic metahuman teams.

Those three superhero teams tied to different geography were:

    • Big Monster Action for Japan
    • The Elite Basij for Iran
    • The Sleeping Soldiers for Australia

There is also a nod to Black Adam and his country of Kahndaq as a haven for metahumans, but no name is given to his metahuman army nor is it worded as such.

As such, so far, that’s twelve international super-teams to rival what the United States has on offer at the 1/2 point of Doomsday Clock.
