Tonight is NXT:Takeover Brooklyn 4!

Check out the Pulse Wrestling crew’s full preview with predictions!

NXT Championship Last Man Standing Match
Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Johnny Gargano

JT: As Aleister Black takes time off to audition for the futuristic comedy ‘Ow my Balls’, Gargano and Ciampa are left to tear the house down. This promises to be another great match in the program between the former best friends, but I’d be surprised if they took the strap off Ciampa this soon.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

Harrak: The hottest feud of 2018 just added one of the hottest championships in wrestling. Ciampa and Gargano are going to tear Brooklyn apart and raise the bar for all future NXT TakeOver main event. At the end of the night, another “boyhood dream” is going to come true when Johnny Gargano becomes NXT Champion.
Winner and NEW NXT Champion: Johnny Gargano

Widro – It’s a shame Black was injured, but amping up this feud with a title belt should create a huge main event.
Winner: Ciampa

NXT Women’s Championship Match
Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane

JT: Is Shayna Baszler ready for a move up to the main roster? Considering how crowded the women’s ranks are at the moment I sort of doubt it, and while Sane has been a standout performer during her time in NXT, I don’t think this is her time.
Winner: Shayna Baszler

Harrak: I like this history-laden first feud for Baszler and Kairi Sane has stepped up her viciousness immensely. And while Sane’s new character wrinkle is fun, Baszler is still hot on her run as champion and that shouldn’t change here.
Winner and still champ: Shayna Baszler

Widro – I think Kairi has a great gimmick but Baszler has an it factor and shouldn’t lose the title here.
Winner: Baszler

NXT Tag Team Championship Match
Undisputed ERA (c) vs. Moustache Mountain

JT: Okay, it’s been a couple of weeks since I watched NXT, but I had to look up who Mustache Mountain are. It seems they’re those pale British blokes with bad teeth. How is it that these goobers are in a title match but War Raiders are nowhere to be seen?
Winners: Undisputed Era

Harrak: Moustache Mountain is fun but they’re not the Undisputed Era. They’re this new “NXT Generation”-version of the Four Horsemen and them wearing the belts, letting the roster chase them, is a format for money. UE is here to stay.
Winners: Undisputed Era

Widro – Another killer match on paper, should be a great in ring match
Winner: Moustache Mountain

NXT North American Championship Match
Adam Cole vs. Ricochet

JT: While many are comparing Adam Cole to a young HBK, I get more of a Carlito vibe from him – hot at first, but maybe not enough depth to sustain a long career. While I’m happy to be proven wrong, I’d suggest Ricochet is a legitimate worldwide star who could do a lot to build the NXT brand, so it would make sense to put this newly invented title on him.
Winner: Ricochet

Harrak: This has to be the sleeper match of the night and that’s saying something considering this lineup. Adam Cole has been doing a fairly good job as the inaugural NXT North American Champion but he is a heel so holding open challenges like the babyface Ricochet would be idiotic. So would it be better if the new belt was on the high-flying face? In my mind, Adam Cole is one of the franchises of NXT along with the Undisputed Era and a loss here would hurt him. While I do expect him to move up to the NXT title soon, I don’t expect him to drop the North American title Saturday night.
Winner: Ricochet by DQ or Countout

Widro – Should be a great match, and both guys could steal the show.
Winner: Cole

EC3 vs. Velveteen Dream

JT: It would be hard for me to care less about this match between knockoff Rick Rude and that bloke from the Lonely Island. EC3 wins with the Dick in a Box, I suppose.
Winner: EC3

Harrak: I love the idea behind this feud but I wish they had more TV time to flesh it out. Both of these personalities are so over the top at times that they would make for some very entertaining segments. That said, Velveteen Dream has been on a role wether or not he wins matches. EC3 still needs to build some “NX3” momentum and a win here is a good start.
Winner: EC3

Widro – I’m a huge EC3 mark, I think he’ll pull out the win
Winner: EC3
