Sony Pictures is bringing the hit Spanish film that inspired the American remake Quarantine to DVD this July! »»
Remakes of foreign horror films are commonplace nowadays. There are so many of them, I’m sure most American audiences don’t even know they’re watching a remake. Quarantine however, has some advantage over other remakes. The original, the Spanish film [REC], has still not received a proper American R1 DVD release. Of course there are other ways of obtaining films before they’re released, but since I’m a sucker for my subtitled DVD extras and English menu screens, I have not yet seen [REC] giving me a non-biased view of Quarantine. »»
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($28.96) and Blu-ray ($39.95) editions of Quarantine which stars Jennifer Carpenter, Johnathon Schaech, and Jay Hernandez. Each will be available to own beginning February 17, 2009. »»
