Quick Synopsis: Baroness and Flint are being held hostage by various crime cartels who are holding them hostage in order to force the Joes and Destro to give up Cobra Commander to them. This forces the Joes to form an alliance with Destro, who’s in a particularly foul mood with his lover being held hostage and such.

Good: We see more of the Joes personal lives as we learn that Flint has become a published author during his downtime and we learn about some of Flint and Lady Jay’s pre-mission rituals.

Bad: Destro is once again portrayed as a one-dimensional madman and we get very little interaction between him and Lady Jay and with the two hostages, Flint and Baroness. This story has tons of potential for character interaction amongst the four characters and instead we get zero.

Also, why the devil would the Yakuza and the Russian Mob kidnap Flint? The Joes know nothing about Cobra Commander’s current location, so why bring them into this?

The Ugly: The artwork is just horrible. Brandon Badeux is just so genericly bad that my eyes bleed.
