A disclaimer; as you just read this book is written by Grant Morrison. This is also the eleventh issue of a thirteen issue miniseries. That said, if you haven’t read the book this review isn’t going to make any sense to you. If you have read the book then there is a chance the review may make some sense.

Greg Feely realizes that he is a pawn in the plan of the Hand. He destroys the surveillance devices that are placed throughout his apartment, and torments his doppleganger. The Hand dispatches Dmitri 9, assassin chimp, to get rid of Greg. Greg avoids death, and regular citizens take down Dmitri, with a little help from a train. Oh yeah, Spartacus Hughes has infected Max Thunderstone. Finally Greg vows “Death to Status: Q.” and really means it.

Grant Morrison. Wow. I have been completely lost up until the last two issues. But Grant has managed to change me from a periphery reader to an actual fan this book. I finally understand what is going on. I bet that when I reread the previous issues (if I ever find the time, I still haven’t read last weeks titles, other than those I reviewed.) I will really understand everything. It took awhile but this book is really starting to pay off.

The colors are fantastic. Check out the parapersonas on page twenty-two for what I am talking about with colors. Dmitiri looks like an enraged chimp on page thirteen, which just shows how great Weston and Erksine do every month. Page seventeen also looks amazing. The cover isn’t as eye grabbing as usual, but it isn’t bad either.
