Tambi, Katchoo’s mob connected sister makes the discovery that the rape victim that Casey’s ex, the lecherous Freddy has befriended is really a renegade Parker girl who’s using Freddy and Casey as a way to make contact with Katchoo, who she plans to kill. Unfortunately for the renegade, she’s quickly killed in gruesome fashion by Tambi’s hit-woman of choice Becky, who is rewarded for a job well done with a date with her favorite actress, complete with white Elvis jumpsuit to push Becky’s sexual fetish buttons…
Meanwhile Casey breaks quadruple bad news to Katchoo: Francince has had a miscarriage, Casey purposely deleted Francine’s message on Katchoo’s answering machine asking her to come comfort her post-miscarriage, that Francine and Brad’s wedding is a couple of days away, and that Katchoo’s evil child-molesting step-father has died and been buried, denying Katchoo the right to ensure that his remains get desecrated and denied Christian burial. After throttling Casey, Katchoo leaves, spray-paints “child molester” on the grave, burns the gravesite, and announces her intentions to crash Francine’s issue.
A good issue but I can’t help notice that Terry Moore has gone from A to E while skipping C and D. The rape victim storyline is resolved with little fanfare and makes zero sense. Given everything that’s happenedm Moore fails to properly connect the dots toward the rape subplot to the issue from a couple of months back when said Parker Girl gets fired and outed as a spy by Tambi. Plus the death of Katcho’s stepfather comes off very forced and shoved into the plot, as if it was an after thought.
