The current “Lionheart of Avalon” storyline continues as Kelsey Leigh is brought to the former Captain Britain Brian Braddock and told that she has been chosen to be the new Captain Britain. The only hitch is that Kelsey Leigh picks the Sword instead of the Amulet and gets told that she won’t be allowed to see her kids anymore thanks to her choosing to pick the sword.

Meanwhile the Avengers have to deal with their own problems, as the Wrecking Crew has escaped from their cells and have taken a bloody and battered Hawkeye hostage. But the real issue on everyone’s mind is what is up with Thunderball, who suddenly starts displaying telepathic powers and turning against his fellow Wrecking Crew members on the basis that his “master” no longer need their services.

Thunderball escapes in an Avengers Quinjet with the Avengers and the new Captain Britain in pursuit. As Thunderball morphs into an actual knight, Captain Britain and Scarlet Witch teleport alongside the knight as his evil master teleports them to an unknown location.
