Good News: Chuck Austen is leaving as writer of adjectiveless X-Men
Bad News: It’s heavily rumored Peter Milligan is taking over the book

Good News: Gambit is blind!
Bad News: He’s still alive.

Good News: Havok is the new team leader!
Bad News: Havok’s being written as a huge jerk. And he’s still sleeping with the evil Nurse Annie.

Good News: Polaris is acting sane!
Bad News: It makes Polaris’s interaction with Magneto, which made her combining her powers with Magneto and getting an orgasm ultra creepy

Good News: Sammy the Squidboy is a part of the team!
Bad News: He’s been coupled with the annoying John Mayer-wannabe Joshua Guthrie, who’s a blatant rip-off of Angel

Good News: Editorial is taking a firm hand in Chuck Austen’s writing!
Bad News: They are making things much, much worse by ordering him to bring back Xorn as a separate entity as opposed to being an alias for Magneto

Good News: With Chuck Austen gone, we won’t have to endure him bringing back Nightcrawler’s dad and family!
Bad News: This will only encourage Chris Claremont to do more mindless retconning on Nightcrawler, like resurrecting Destiny so as to reveal that Mystique has a penis and that Destiny is Nightcrawler’s biological mother.

Good News: Chuck Austen is gone!
Bad News: Brian Bendis is still employed while Mark Millar is still camping out by his phone ala Belle from “Days of Our Lives,” pathetically waiting for Dan Didio to call him so that he can tell Marvel to call him and tell him how pretty he is and how he wants him to write Superman….

Good News: With Austen gone from X-Men, the Marvel Universe will be Austen-free!
Bad News: Austen will just run off and ply his evil at DC, where he’s already trying to destroy Superman

Good News: Austen is ruining Superman? Are you smoking? Have you read adjectiveless Superman? Brian Azzarello’s Superman is far worse than Austen’s!
Bad News: Brian Azzarello was never a good writer to begin with. Like Howard Mackie, he had one good run on a single title (in Brian’s case “Hellblazer” and in Mackie’s case “Ghost Rider”) and has written sh– ever since.

Good News: Haven’t you read 1000 Bullets? That’s Good Stuff!
Bad News: Read the first trade and didn’t like it. Nor did I like it when he wrote Batman or Cage…..
